Campaign Announcement, campaign policy change.
As of today I, Mark Bignell will not knowingly accept any campaign contributions from the oil, gas, and coal industries.
The Pledge: I pledge to not take contributions from the oil, gas, and coal industry and instead prioritize the health of our families, climate, and democracy over fossil fuel industry profits.
Taking the pledge means that your campaign will adopt a policy to not knowingly accept any contributions over $200 from the PACs or executives of fossil fuel companies — companies whose primary business is the extraction, processing, distribution, or sale of oil, gas, or coal.
As of January 8, 2018; I am proud to announce I have filed for ballot access for Michigan State Senate, District 33. All requirements and fees were met, so I will be appearing on the ballot this primary season. In accordance with this recent development, I have also withdrawn from the US Representative in Congress; Michigan District 4 race. It was my sincerest honor to earn the support of many and learn soo much about politics, from a hands on perspective.
